I have worked with Susanne from Crown Weddings for years. She is one of San Diego’s best wedding and event planners. So, when she called me to ask me to photograph her wedding, I was thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to shoot her wedding.
I imagine it was strange for Susanne to be “on the other side”, so to speak, as the bride instead of the planner. It was even strange for me to be photographing her instead of working with her.
The wedding was held at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. I always love shooting there.
Of course, the wedding was absolutely amazing! The ceremony was held in the preserve area at the hotel. I have never seen a ceremony there. It was a great alternative to the lawn.

Darin, I cannot stop watching, the photos are wonderful. You did such a fantastic job of capturing Susanne and Chris’s wedding day, It is definately a day that we will all remember especially Laura Anne our daughter and flower fairy. It was indeed a magical day.
