In San Diego, it’s not supposed to rain much, but the weather reports almost guaranteed rain for Saturday, not just a little, but several inches…
Well, fortunately they were wrong. The day turned out warm and no rain at all. I know they say rain is good luck on a wedding day, but I think people just say that to make everyone feel better.
We started off at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego. Then the ceremony was at the Immaculata at the University of San Diego. It was a good thing the bridal party left the hotel in the limo early since the limo broke down on the way to the church! Amazingly they were able to get another limo and get to the church in time for the ceremony.
After that it was on to Emerald Chinese Seafood Restaurant for a great 10 course Chinese banquet complete with lion dancers. (a great place for dim sum, BTW.)
