Dr. Steven Drosman, our family’s OB, delivered our first two kids 8 and 5 years ago. I must say, he is one of the best people we have ever met and, of course, an incredible doctor. A few years ago I met his granddaughter and photographed her and her parents without even knowing they were related to Dr. Drosman. I have been photographing his granddaughter every year since.
So when Dr. Drosman told me his daughter was getting married, I was thrilled to be able to try to return the favor for all that he has done for our family.
Dara and Matt chose the Estancia Hotel in La Jolla for their wedding reception. I really love The Estancia. It has so many great settings for photos no matter what time of the year.
It was great to work with Maryann and Aubyn from Taylored Occaisions again. And Botanica did a wonderful job with the flowers providing their unique style. I can always tell when I have a Botanica wedding.

You know it’s a good sign when Jerry Rice randomly shows up as you are taking your wedding pictures!!! I have been sitting here looking at your photos, of people I don’t know, but I can’t help myself. Your photojournalistic style captures these candid moments that are simply priceless. You make me want to take you everywhere I go, for although I hate the way I look in pictures, I think you would make even me look good! Simply put, you are so talented with what you create behind that lens!
Wow!! I just looked at the slide show with Molly (my 5 year old) and we agree that the pictures are truly beautiful and show off a really special event!! I can’t believe we had to miss it…
