it’s the most wonderful time of the year…

In case you haven’t noticed, I have not had any updates to my blog for a while.  (I just added a bunch.) As any portrait photographer will tell you, the month or two before Christmas is absolutely crazy! Lots of portrait sessions, print orders, greeting cards, albums, etc. keep me frazzled right up until Christmas.

Anyway, I decided just to put some samples from a the many portrait sessions together in one post rather than having a separate post for all the portrait sessions.

abigail

Abigail is the daughter of some very good friends of ours. I have taken photos of her since she the day she was born at the hospital.

Well, now that she’s a little older, she isn’t scared of me anymore and  actually seems to like having her portraits taken.

We just walked around Balboa Park and founds lots of places to shoot.

My Family Portraits

Having been born and raised in Sacramento, CA, my aunts and uncles asked me to shoot their portraits during our trip up to Sacramento for Thanksgiving. It’s always fun shooting family portraits for my relatives. Needless to say, I have a big family, including my 97 year old grandmother!

We had 65 people at Thanksgiving dinner and that was just one side of my family and not everyone was there!

the ghosh family

I had the opportunity to photography the Ghosh family at the Hotel Del Coronado. As it turns out, the mother is going to be the officiant at Autumn and Michael’s wedding.

We had an amazing sunset that day.

the hekier family
