I had a great time photographing Chloe and Ben at the Hotel Del Coronado. The weather was perfect and it wasn’t that crowded for a Saturday in the summer.
I will be photographing their wedding later this year. Ben is the grandson of Wayne Foster (yes, THE Wayne Foster of Wayne Foster Entertainment.) Needless to say, the wedding is going to be incredible!
Mindy and Cameron booked me for their wedding over the phone from Chicago so I never had a chance to meet them until today. Although I’ve always wanted to visit Chicago but never had a chance, I was fortunate that they flew out to San Diego to meet with all the vendors for their wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado later this year.
While they were both here, we managed to schedule an engagement portrait session in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego.
We had a great time taking advantage of the endless possibilities downtown. Mindy and Cameron did great and I can’t wait until their wedding this fall.
Jacky and Clarence are getting married in San Francisco later this year. Since I had a trip up to Sacramento, they were kind enough to drive to Sacramento to have me take their engagement portraits. We decided to go to downtown Sacramento. Although I grew up in Sacramento, I have never shot portraits downtown. It’s always fun to try out a new location and as it turns out, there was no shortage of great spots within a couple block radius. I will definitely be looking forward to shooting more around that location again.
We had a great portrait session at Windansea Beach in La Jolla with Abby and Stephen. Stephen’s mother is owner of couple of great Chinese restaurants, Emerald Chinese Seafood Restaurant(one of my favorite locations for Dim Sum), and Pearl Chinese Cuisine, where Abby and Stephen will have their wedding reception later this year.
Needless to say, the wedding is going to have some great food!
Molly and Adam showed up for their engagement session with a chess board. That was a first for me. But since they are both attorneys, it all made sense when they told me that everything in their relationship is a negotiation or like a chess match. I can only imagine.
We had a lot of fun at the Hotel Del, the beach, and then finally ending up a the new wine and chocolate bar at the Del.
