I had the opportunity to attend Chef Daniel Barron’s “pop up” restaurant event a month ago. His new venture is called Evolve Cuisine. The first event was incredible and I shot a few photos of each dish.
After showing him the photos, he agreed to let me really shoot his next event, The Cambrian Event. I shot it as long as he agreed to feed me!
I can’t describe all the details of each dish, but if you’ve ever seen Top Chef or Iron Chef, you get the idea. Daniel specializes on molecular gastronomy and creates the most unusual dishes I have ever tried.
Check out his website for details on their upcoming events.
Here’s the video from the last event:

I went along with my daughter on their school field trip to Riley’s Farm in Oak Glen, California in Riverside County.
It was an amazing experience. We were worried about the cold and sure enough, it actually snowed! I think it was the first time Micah actually saw snow falling.
If you ever have a chance to go there, I highly recommend it. We did the Revolutionary War Experience. But the best part of the whole trip was their unbelievably good home made apple pie. (Yes, I am a sucker for a pie, but this was the best apple pie ever!)
Here’s a some photos and video I shot that day:
